HERBAL GARDEN

Based on the climatic conditions various medicinal plants have been planted in the herbal garden. The aim is to expose the students to learn about the drug extraction process, processing of different plant parts, and understanding of the medicinal value of different plants. At MLS Pharmacy College premises around 75 varieties of medicinal plants are there. These are mostly been collected from the local regions, and villages, and few have been collected from the nearby Forest Department, Aurangabad. The Herbal Garden is being maintained by daily cleaning and watering of plants by the gardener. Mahadeva Lal Schroff College of Pharmacy is rich with a well settled herbal garden, having several numbers of medicinal plants for the purpose of almost all therapeutic value. The sources of collection of herbal plants are as follows:

• Forest Department, Aurangabad, Bihar
• Bharat Nursery of Bodh Gaya
• Vikas Garden Plant

The herbal garden is daily facilities with cleaning, watering system. Mr. Md Usuf is in-charge of garden. Mr. Ranjeet Kumar, is the gardener.
