MLS Infrastructure
CLASS ROOM AND TUTORIAL ROOM
Separate well it and ventilated 6 classrooms are available for conducting the D.Pharm and B.Pharm classes. The classrooms are well equipped with Digital smart board, display projector and Over Head Projectors to meet the state of the art infrastructure teaching facilities of the modern educational facilities. All the Classrooms have comfortable seating arrangement.
Institute has also provided the separate tutorial room for each department for meetings, discussion and demonstration for students and departmental faculties.
Library
The college has an excellent Library and Information Center, one of the central support services of the institution, which acts as a primary source for information seekers, be it the students, faculty or researchers. It is carefully designed to maximize natural lighting to the users and provide a comfortable seating and reading environment. The library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of CD-ROM, online database, video cassettes, books, journals, WHO publication- journals and E- books.
It has membership with leading information center including Health Sciences Library Network. The Central Library also provides its service to the user community through seven well-equipped Departmental Libraries and Hostel Libraries.
AUDITORIUM
Auditorium hall is available at ground floor of institute with adequate seating arrangement(3000Sqf), and fully AC, LCD projector and motorized projector screen, audio-visual system with power backup facilities for organizing seminars, workshops, conferences, guest lectures and others events.
SEMINAR HALL
It is fully air-conditioned and is suitable for international conferences, symposium, meetings, seminars, concerts, presentations and performances. The hall is fully equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual devices providing services such as video conferencing, a sound system and audio-visual material.
BOYS & GIRLS COMMON ROOM
The institute has provided separate and properly ventilated boys & girls common room facility where students can discuss and can do their assignments. It is not only to do their work but also a place for relaxation & refreshment as well. There are several facilities provided in these rooms such as the attached washroom, chairs, tables, lockers, etc.
HOSTEL WITH MESS FACILITIES
Students coming from all over India get exposed to different religions and customs. The hostel is a home away from home with a parental touch, caring for comforts & nurturing maturity. The college has separate in-campus hostel facility for boys and girls on double/triple sharing basis.
Hostel rooms are allotted on a first come-first serve basis and subject to availability. The rooms are spacious and well ventilated. Recreational facilities are also being provided in the common room of the hostel.
We pamper students by providing amenities and groom them to manage their routine independently, letting them enjoy the comforts of reading newspapers and books, providing them nutritious vegetarian food, safe drinking water, round the clock water supply etc. thus giving them a feeling of being at home. Special care is taken in preparation of food under hygienic conditions in the hostel mess with a routine & healthy menu of breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Ragging in any form is prohibited inside or outside the campus. Any student caught indulging in such an activity would be suspended and FIR will be filed against him/her.
CANTEEN & CAFETERIA
The institute is having a tidy and hygienic canteen located within the campus to provide meals and snacks throughout the day. The area is attractively designed with proper seating arrangements. The canteen is having a cafeteria, with a spacious sitting place and decorated walls. It is a right place for refreshment and to relax the budding intellectuals.
There are convenient dining services locations on campus providing service to students, faculty & staff and visitors to the college.
The students and staff enjoy tea or coffee along with fresh and hygienic snacks. The canteen also provides lunch & the menu for each day has varieties of delicious food. The canteen staffs are well-trained in preparing food hygienically and in hospitality.
STORE ROOM
The institute has provided chemical storage facilities with proper arrangements managed by store in-charge & attendants. The centralized chemical store is divided into separate sections (1 & 2) for acids, solid chemicals and inflammable solvents and chemicals stored in bonded facilities.
There are plentiful of chemicals, glassware’s and equipments are available in the chemical store, and from there required glassware and chemicals are distributed to respective departments as per their requisitions.
FIRST AID ROOM
There is a well maintained first aid room in the campus equipped with primary emergency first aid kit and equipments for taking vitals such as thermometer, sphygmomanometer, stretcher, oxygen cylinder, patient bed, etc. Doctors and ambulatory services are available on call whenever the need arises.
The medical facility is also extended to the physical education department of the college at the time of matches like volleyball, cricket, table tennis, etc. Furthermore, at the time of college outings, first aid facility is available to the students
TOILET FACILITIES
The institute is having ten well maintained, neat and clean toilets for the students, two for each boy and girls in the academic block itself. There are also separate toilets for faculties & staff and for physically disabled with all the requirements.
Besides this, all the administrative rooms, girls’ common room, canteen, and first aid room are also having independent attached toilet facilities. Special attention paid to cleanliness and hygiene.
PLAY GROUND
Students are encouraged to engage in physical education and for the overall development of personality. Sports are an important part of every society, country and individual. Participation in sports builds up team spirit, healthy competition and skill development which are essential elements in the development of sportsmanship and fair play is fostered among the whole student community.
The qualities of the leadership, sharing, team spirit and tolerance are learnt from sports. Sports not only teach the students to maintain the physical stamina, discipline, but also the determination to win, willpower etc. Students are encouraged to participate in college competitions and also offer themselves for selection to the different levels of team.
Common Playgrounds for Cricket, Volleyball and other games are available in the MLS campus. Also, facilities for Indoor games like table tennis, Chess, Carom have also been created in sports room.
Medicinal Plant Garden and Museum
The department has maintained medicinal plants in decorative pots in the college campus to familiarize students about the herbal drugs included for study in their curriculum. Plants are procured from established nurseries of medicinal plants.
The plants are labeled to provide the basic information regarding their source, family, chemical constituents and uses.
