The institute has been established with a view to promote excellence in Pharmacy education and to prepare upcoming generation to meet the challenges in the area of Pharmaceutical industries, education, research and development by utilizing leading edge technologies with available resources at the MLSCP. Savitri Memorial Trust founded Mahadeva Lal Schroff College of Pharmacy in 2018, with the introduction of D. Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) course, B. Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) was added in 2020, with a zest for spreading quality healthcare education. True to our tradition, MLSCP with its motto of ‘Redefining Pharmacy Education’ has been dispensing cutting edge knowledge in this highly sophisticated field of drug development and delivery, promoting in the process, a crop of well qualified and socially conscious alumni who have already begun to make a mark in the Pharmaceutical field. The college itself has earned a number of laurels for its splendid achievement; in a short span of its existence. Which we feel is a resounding acknowledgement of our contribution to the discipline of pharmacy.

The institute houses the highly well equipped state-of-the-art laboratories with sophisticated, advanced and dedicated instrument rooms, library with computer facility, reprographic facility with unlimited internet access for students and faculty members for research and knowledge upgradation, class rooms with preinstalled LCD Projectors. The college is equipped with the best infrastructure and equipments, which has been instrumental in creating the awesome credibility in a very short span of its existence. We believe that having established our credentials in the field of education, we need to take our commitment forward through introducing newer and higher avenues for the budding pharmacy students. Our aim is to imbibe the good work practices as well as research culture and professional attitude amongst the student fraternity to make them able and competent to contribute to the ultimate goal of having healthy India.

Savtri Memorial Trust, popularly known as the SMT, was established in February 2010 under the visionary leadership of Dr. Braj Kishore Singh, with the objective of providing quality education in the fields of Pharmacy and Paramedical. The institutions managed by SMT, have maintained high academic standards and have successfully provided trained manpower to the industrial and service sector of the country. SMT started with a modest strength of 60 students and a single course has grown steadily. These students pursue multi-discipline, Diploma and graduate programmes. The objective providing of ‘ Pharmacy education' in a professional environment has been possible due to the sincere and dedicated efforts of the members of MLSCP Sri Vikas Kumar Singh and Sri Kausar Shafaat, who have invaluable experience in varied areas like academics, industry, the services and social work.

The Pharmacy curriculum then continues with Industrial orientation by updating from time to time which includes introductions of new courses like biotechnology, computer application in pharmacy, clinical pharmacy and clinical pharmacology in the undergraduate course. In our day-to-day life pharmacists play an important role, as they are very much into research and manufacture of drugs. Thus pharmacy is closely associated with scientific study.
